Since its establishment more than 80 years ago, Fiddler, González & Rodríguez, prides itself in professional excellence and its valued tradition of service to the community. We are privileged to be able to give back to the communities and believe that community involvement adds an important dimension to the growth and development of our attorneys, both as lawyers and citizens.
Our attorneys actively seek opportunities to serve pro bono and contribute their knowledge and experience in bar association commissions, law schools, continued legal education programs and professional boards such as the Puerto Rico Supreme Court Board of Bar Examiners, and the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants.
The Firm actively encourages its attorneys to participate in boards of directors of non government organizations (NGOs) and to become leaders and opinion makers addressing problems affecting Puerto Rico's economy, our culture and our societal values. With this philosophy as priority our lawyers serve as members of the board of directors of Boys and Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America, The Salvation Army, Corporación para las Microfinanzas Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, Hogar Teresa Toda, Pro Arte Musical, Proyecto Enlace del Caño Martin Peña, Caras de las Américas, Fundacion Angel Ramos, Alianza para un Puerto Rico sin Drogas, among others. Our lawyers also serve as Trustees of the major educational institutions in Puerto Rico, the University of Puerto Rico, the Inter American University of Puerto Rico, the Pontificial Catholic University of Puerto Rico and Sacred Heart University.
